Welcome to Friends of Grandsons
‘Friends of Grandsons’ is a group of ex volunteers, and like minded individuals who have heard about the Grandsons of Abraham street children rescue centre in Mombasa, Kenya, or have experienced it at first hand. Working at Grandsons, or just visiting can be a profound experience and most are greatly touched by what they see, hear and feel. We want to continue to help in any way we can, and we also want to share our thoughts and feelings with one another.
Our aims are as follows;
- To work towards helping the centre, financially and with moral support
- To provide infomation for those considering donating money/goods or volunteering at, or visiting the centre.
- To keep intouch with what's happening at the centre, and share news of the boys ,staff, and project development
- To organise pooled fundraising, delivery or goods and funds etc
